Handmade sake set made with a light speckled buff clay and glazed with blue surf glaze. This glaze transitions from brown to green to blue depending on the glaze thickness, giving the surface an interesting color variation, reminiscent of breaking waves. The lower portion of the bottle and cup are left unglazed to highlight the speckling in the clay. The interiors are fully glazed.
This is a smaller set, ideal for hot sake.
The bottle is 5.5" by 2" and holds 6 oz
The cup is 2.5" by 2" and holds 3 oz
